The **RCS Gyroscope Controller** is a block that acts very similar to a Gyroscope, but its strength is based on the number and placement of **RCS thrusters** on your grid.

The further your RCS thrusters are from the axis of rotation, the more torque they impart when turning.

* The position of the RCS Gyroscope Controller block itself does not influence turning rates
* Multiple RCS Gyroscope Controllers provide redundancy, but will not increase turning rates
* When linked to an RCS Gyroscope Controller, RCS Thrusters will fire and consume fuel while turning

See [Thrusters](/doc/2b3013f1-89d7-40e7-bb77-4fd8301e11aa) for more info on RCS thrusters.
